Organic Solid Waste Handling & Processing Technology
Black Soldier Fly Larvae for Organic Solid Waste Processing
Abundant organic solid waste is produced everyday from industries such as dairy product process plants and other F&B processing facilities. These organic solid waste must be eliminated or processed further in order to keep the contaminants in the solid waste safe from the environment.

Thus we POWER CHEMICALS in cooperation with PT MAGALARVA SAYANA INDONESIA using an insect species named the Black Soldier FLy Larvae (BSF Larvae), we convert these organic solid waste into usable & valuable products in a short amount of time, without zero waste generated from the treatment process.
Black Soldier Fly, or scientifically known as Hermetia illucens, is a type of fly that has many useful qualities. At their larva stage, they are one of the fastest organisms to consume organic waste: in a single day they can consume four times their body weight!
The harvested larvae then will be rich in proteins, fats and chitin, making it useful for the animal feed, pet food, and even pharmaceutical industry. They also contain fatty acids that have prebiotic and antibiotic effects that are good for animals. Moreover, as a by-product of the waste-eating process, they produce high quality organic fertilizers with 47x less greenhouse gases emission compared to windrow composting.
