MINERAL FLOTATION REAGENT

Mineral flotation processes are used to increase the concentration of specific minerals in a concentrator plant. To achieve this objective, a mineral flotation process uses various chemicals reagent to enhance the mineral separation efficiency. Via mineral surface properties modification & froth conditioning, our POWERSHIFT™, POWERFROTH™, & POWERPRESS™ mineral flotation reagents products are your choice for maximum mineral separation efficiency.

    Fit for:
  • Copper, Zinc, Lead, and various mineral floatation
  • Pyrite depressant for flotation cell
  • Coal flotation process

OUR PRODUCTS
POWERSHIFT™
Collector for Modification of Mineral Surface Properties
POWERFROTH™
Frother for Generation of Stable & Consistent Froth
POWERPRESS™
Depressant for Prevention of Gangue Mineral Carryover

Our various POWERSHIFT™ Mineral Collectors chemistry such as Xanthates, Dithiophospates, and Thionocarbamate are able to attach to the mineral surfaces and shift the naturally hydrophilic character of a mineral surface to a hydrophobic (water repellant) characteristic. The modified mineral surface will then be much more effectively attached to the froth and rise up to the top of the floatation cell while the gangue minerals are left in the tailing.

    Our POWERSHIFT™ Product Benefit:
  • High mineral selectivity in order to increase separation efficiency
  • Does not hindered the froth formation
  • Adjustable to each floatation cells unit characteristics

Frothers create the strong but short-lived froth, which holds the floated minerals at the top of the cell. Frothers produce a froth which is strong enough in the flotation cell to support the floated minerals, but breaks down quickly once the forth and its attached minerals overflow the cell. Our POWERFROTH™ Frother Reagents are able to create a wide range of froth requirements for your mineral floatation process.

    Our POWERFROTH™ Product Benefit:
  • Able to provide a wide range of froth characteristics
  • Adjustable stability of froth per requirement
  • Able to produce smaller bubble size, thus giving large surface area for mineral attachment

Separating sulfide minerals, such as chalcopyrite from pyrite, is somewhat more complex. It relies on modifying the surfaces of non-Cu mineral sulfides, also called gangue minerals, so that the collector does not attach to them while still attaching to Cu Mineral sulfides. Our POWERPRESS™ Depressant for Gangue Mineral with various chemistry from Sodium Metabisulfite & Diethylene Tetraamine are able to depress your gangue mineral and preventing them from contaminating your final concentrate product.

    Our POWERPRESS™ Product Benefit:
  • Depress various gangue mineral such as sulfide & Oxide gangue minerals
  • Will not affect frother or collector performance
  • High selectivity to gangue mineral only, thus will not lower
